What is LEED?
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) is a national standard developed by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) to certify sustainable buildings.
LEED buildings save energy, conserve resources, protect occupant health, and improve owners' bottom lines. LEED-NC (for New Construction) v2.2 is the most widely used standard.
LEED utilizes a system of points awarded in six (6) environmental categories for achieving specific levels of sustainable performance.
